![]() ![]() ![]() Yes, good tools like hudu/itglue make tracking this stuff manageable but compare that to for example 365 + intune where your deployment can literally be 'log into the device' and everything else is handled from software installs, licensing, rmm setup, drive encryption, browser settings, etc. This gets to be a nightmare even on small deployments of 5-10 systems. They aren't in any particular order (last I checked) so activating two keys right after eachother you have to use process of elimination in your recording to know which is the 'un-recorded' key. Activating multiple product keys a day gives you no way to get the 'true' product key from the website. Close all Office apps to finish the process. If your product key is new, follow the prompts to complete the redemption process. Enter your Office 2019 or Office 2016 product key, and then select Install this product instead. Sure it works for 5-10-25 devices but what if you're years in, sunk cost fallacy flying in your face and you've got 500 devices in different orgs all with different microsoft credentials that get changed or accounts locked, accounts filling up, etc. If you're not signed in, select Enter product key instead. ![]()
